 Dan’s main roll on the team is extraction and disassembly of the engine. During the disassembly, exacting inspection of the intake system, cylinder head, pistons, bearings, lifters, etc.
After reassembling and replacing the engine in the boat, Dan operationally checks for leaks during engine warm up and ensures safety and security on the right side.

I,m 27 years old and have been involved in drag racing for the past 10 years.
Accomplishments:
2 wins driving my 69 Camaro in D/Gas Eliminator 2 wins and one runner up as crew chief on Kent Specht’s “Baby Huey” blown alcohol altered Currently crew chief on Frank McBee’s blown alcohol front engine dragster. We have 2 runner ups in Top Eliminator West, and are looking for our first win in 2010. I own and operate Shuken Racing Fabrication, a chassis shop in Fresno, CA. One of the cars I built for a customer, set a speed record in XO/Street Roadster at the 2010 Speedweek at the Bonneville Salt Flats (155.68mph). 2010 was my first season with the Toxic Rocket., looking forward to a exciting 2010
